Now the specialist from Muehlacker has over 2.000 efficient and innovative products in the portfolio. New: Intelligent Battery Control
Recently MOTOMETER extended the field of body electronics with the intelligent battery control. New mechanical and electromechanical battery master switches offer more security in commercial vehicles. The different battery switches avoid breakdown of the battery even after long time outs and offer the best possible protection against illegal ignition.

The full-electronic battery breaker also provides reliability of the supply system on board of construction machines. „Since 2011 MOTOBREAKER 2.0 is listed as one of the most innovative product developments at the „Automotive Bestenliste” (list of the best automotive products of the German industry award). It realises bounce-free switching, short circuit resistance, overheating, battery on and off in the cabine and controlled rewrite of storage media in control devices”, so Bulla. No leakage current will be developed through the complete current interruption. Thus, the battery is subjected to no deep unloading even after long stops. Moreover, MOTOBREAKER 2.0 is applicable as simple theft protection.
Awarded ultrasonic fuel level sensor MOTOSONIC
In 2008 the ultrasonic fuel level sensor MOTOSONIC already delighted the jury and won the first position of the Industriepreis as best product. Also CNH the currently world-wide third largest producer of construction machines is very enthusiastic about the awarded ultrasonic tank sensor MOTOSONIC, which they already purchase since 2010. “We are always in the search for innovative products, which bring our agriculture and construction machines to perfection. With the MOTOSONIC we get a product of MOTOMETER, which optimally covers the needs of our commercial vehicles. There are a few reasons. One is that the measurement of the liquid level in the tank is done without contact. With the ultrasonic technology and the focus tube we receive incomparably precise results of measurement also at extreme sloping positions. Moreover, compared to mechanical measurements it avoids abrasion, which limit the life of the sensor”, explains Thomas Fuhr, manager Aftersales marketing for Germany and Austria.
A further advantage is the flexibility within the geometric tank shapes and the different numbers of liquids. So MOTOSONIC can simply measure the level of cooling liquids, water, chemicals, diesel fuel, bio diesel, vegetable oil and hydraulic oil with an ambient temperature between -40 to +85°C. And of course MOTOMETER can react on any conditions with the extensive accessories. Furthermore, it fits optimal in the determination of fuel theft because it has a lower power requirement and so it does not limit the performance of the construction machines.
MOTOGUARD offers protection against unrequested access
Another innovative quality product of body electronics is MOTOGUARD. It can be perfectly used as immobiliser for all kinds of vehicles. As car theft and unauthorised initiation of vehicles occur again and again the MOTOGUARD offers an effective and low priced possibility to protect the vehicle fleet against access without permission. Additionally, the device recognises the vehicle key of the authorised driver over the transponder. Automatically user-defined settings can be made on the vehicle by this driver identification, e.g. driver position or the mirror. Beyond that, MOTOGUARD is a storage medium for various vehicle specifications such as mileage, service intervals and vehicle equipment.
Simplified machine control with the Sensitive Cockpit
The company with the one hundred years old quality brand realises with the Sensitive Cockpit a clearly and intuitive menu navigation. “Thereby, the highly complex machine cycles will be simple demonstrated. Elements which are necessary but not always in use will be reduced or clustered. That minimises sources of error, error rates and limitations of the operator. This simplified and clear machine control will unburden the engine driver, supports the security aspect at the daily use and avoids cost-intensive operating errors“, specifies Joachim Bulla.
