Closing date
Pictures submitted after 3rd March 2012 will be not considered. The electronically registered entrance helps to proof the deadline.

In May 2012 a jury will determine the winners from all submitted pictures. Afterwards the winners will be announced and informed on the homepage www.motometer.de.

Conditions of participation:
MOTOMETER GmbH is the organiser of the competition. The participation is free and independent of the acquisition of goods. With the participation the attendant accepts the conditions of participation and agrees the usage of the address data only for advertising purposes of MOTOMETER. It is important that all personal data are true. Otherwise, an exclusion from the photo competition is possible. The legal process is excluded.

The participant insures that he or she has all rights at the submitted picture, has unrestricted rights of exploitation of all picture parts, that the picture is free of rights of thirds and injured no personality rights when showing other persons. If the photo shows one or more people, they have to agree that the picture is published. The participants will confirm this if desired. Nevertheless, if thirds assert their rights, the participant idemnify the organisers from all requirements. Computer aided photos may not contain picture parts from magazines, books, bought CD etc.

After submission of the picture all rights are transferred to MOTOMETER GmbH. Accordingly, MOTOMETER can dispose of the treatment and publication. The picture must have at least a dissolution of 2.000 pixels wide x of 3.000 pixels high and it has to be stored as .jpg format. The maximum size is 5 MB.

Exclusion of the photo competition
MOTOMETER has the rights to exclude persons who offend against the conditions of participation. Persons who use unlawful tools or manipulations to have advantages can be excluded too. If necessary the gains can be denied or back-demanded in these cases. People with untrue person data can also be excluded.

The following content will be excluded: Obscene, offensive, defame, ethical scandalous, glorify violence, pornographic, encumbering, unsuitable for people underage, racist, inciting, xenophobic, right-wing extremist and other reprehensible pictures. A consignment of those pictures can lead exclusion of the photo competition. MOTOMETER GmbH can delete pictures before or after the publication without indication from reasons.

Abnormal termination of the photo competition
MOTOMETER GmbH can break off or terminate the photo competition at each time without advance notice and without indication of reasons. MOTOMETER would exercise from this option if technical reasons (e.g. viruses in the computer system, manipulation or errors in the hard and/or software) or legal reasons won't make a proper photo competition possible. If such ending is caused by the behavior of a participant, MOTOMETER can require the incidental damage replaced by this person.

Adhesion
MOTOMETER GmbH takes over no adhesion for the loss or possible damages at the submitted pictures.

Assignment of rights
MOTOMETER has the spatially, temporally and contentwise unrestricted, exclusive rights of the pictures from each participant. So MOTOMETER has the right to develop them, report about them (regardless of the media, print, online or social media portals), use them for public work and the competition, exhibition posters, invitations, exhibitions, e-Cards as well as if necessary catalogs, product sheets and books. Beyond that, each participant grant MOTOMETER the appropriate rights, to use the picture for online portals and all further digital products e.g. teaser or downloads for third. Persons under 18 years need the agreement of the guardian.
